Zenith (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Zenith app.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account information: Email address and display name when you sign in with Google or Apple.
  • Usage data: Focus session durations, task completions, and streak data — stored locally on your device using SQLite.
  • Analytics: Aggregated, anonymized usage events (session started, feature used) via Firebase Analytics. No personally identifiable information is included in analytics events.
  • Preferences: App settings (theme, language, timer durations) stored locally.

How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and improve the Zenith app experience
  • To authenticate you securely via Firebase Auth
  • To understand how features are used so we can improve them
  • To send optional focus reminders (only if you enable them)

Data Storage & Security

Your focus sessions, tasks, and projects are stored locally on your device. We do not upload this data to our servers. Authentication is handled by Firebase (Google) which is SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certified.

Third-Party Services

Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings screen in the app, or by contacting us at privacy@zenithapp.com.

Children's Privacy

Zenith is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email.
